Easy, Breezy Appetizer

I think the words "Easy, Breezy" feature somewhere in every article in every magazine in Spring - easy, breezy hair, easy, breezy wardrobe, easy, breezy entertaining. So, I'm just following suit.

What to call these? Easy Breezy Italian Kabobs? Maybe.

Anyway, I ordered these cute cocktail sticks from Amazon, very affordable. And then it's just some cut basil, cherry tomatoes, fresh mozzarella pearls, and if you like meat, pepperoni. You could use turkey pepperoni, but why? What I like best about these appetizers, in addition to being uber tasty, is that they don't require a fork. Just before I take them to a party, I drizzle some olive oil on top, and, AND...

Trader Joe's Balsamic Glaze!

You already know of my love affair with all things Trader Joe, and this is the best stuff! The taste is perfection and makes this easy, breezy appetizer a total delight.

Now, about this photo.

I swear to you I'm really, truly, a pretty cute 40 something old. Really and truly. But not today. My husband took I don't know how many photos. I kept dashing to the bathroom to check myself out - had I aged, had my features suddenly gone whack-a-doo? No, I had not, and no, they had not. But I could not take a decent photo with my darling balsamic glaze, so I started getting frustrated, and this is the result.

What are the lessons we can all take from this?

Lesson #1: this appetizer is easy, it's breezy, and it's delish.

Lesson #2: frustration is not cute. It makes your smile do weird things.

Lesson #3: Trader Joe's Balsamic Glaze is pretty epic and will not share the limelight.
