Short & Sweet: Look of the Week

This is quickly becoming one of my favorite outfits. It's great for spring weather and strikes a nice balance between casual and work-appropriate while still being cute enough for going out. Also shown here: my balcony pig. You're welcome. Top: Cap-sleeve black tee (Old Navy)

Skirt: Short chiffon skirt (Old Navy)

Shoes: Western booties (Target)

Jewelry: Golden brown statement earrings (Originals, Austin) and gold and silver beaded cuff bracelet (Express)

A denim jacket (Target) completes the look and breaks up the black and gold palette.

This is truly an outfit built on staple pieces that I wear over and over again. Bustle is trying to convince me to try a capsule wardrobe. I like my options, so I don't know if I'll bite. But if I do, you can be sure that many of these pieces would be included.
